Incumbent worker training is designed to assist employers in providing their full-time employees with the skills necessary to retain employment or to avert layoffs while increasing both an employee's and a company’s competitiveness in a high-demand sector. The Kentucky Career Center - Bluegrass/American Job Center seeks to ensure that incumbent worker training is targeted to improving the employee's skills and competitiveness and increasing the employer's competitiveness.

 

This service provides employers in the Bluegrass area with up to 50% of the training cost.
