How can the Kentucky Career Center - Bluegrass/ American Job Center help Veterans seeking employment?

Assistance in creating a resume that highlights the skills learned while in the military in a way an employer can understand.

Prepare Veterans for interviewing for positions that suit their skills.

Help with getting a new ID or SS card

Connect with other services in the area, such as childcare, housing, and transportation assistance.
How does a Veteran enroll in WIOA and begin receiving assistance?

Provide a valid ID, an SS card, and your DD-214.

Agree to work with a Workforce Specialist until you become suitably employed.
Eligible veterans may receive Occupational Skills Training Assistance and/or Supportive Services.

In Need of Employment Assistance?
The goal of this program is to help individuals find full-time suitable employment. Our Case Managers or Talent Development Specialists will work with individuals referred to the program in the order they are received and will put priority on assisting them with finding employment. Interested individuals should visit the referral form page by following the link below to begin the process.
